KENAF: A High-Yield, Multifunctional Crop

Rapid Growth & Carbon Sequestration
Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) is one of nature’s fastest-growing crops, capable of sequestering up to 14 tons of COâ‚‚ per acre. With dry matter yields reaching up to 30 t/ha, it significantly contributes to reducing atmospheric carbon levels.

Superior Fiber Quality
Its fibers are stronger than cotton, offering excellent durability for biodegradable plastics, textiles, and structural bio-composites. Kenaf processing requires only water—eliminating the need for chemicals—and its extensive root system naturally cleans and enriches the soil.

Agronomic Benefits
Kenaf not only produces high-quality materials but also enhances soil fertility by adding organic matter, leading to higher subsequent crop yields and improved nutritional profiles.

HYDROPHYTES: Transforming a Nuisance into a Resource

Water Purification
Traditionally viewed as an invasive species, hydrophytes possess outstanding water purification properties. Its biomass can be processed into effective filtration media for water treatment, reclamation, and desalination.

Value-Added Utilization
Governments currently spend millions annually on hydrophyte removal (e.g., USD 10–15 million in Bangladesh, USD 8–12 million in Mexico, and USD 20–30 million in India). By repurposing hydrophytes, our process converts a costly nuisance into a valuable resource.
